A Thali is a large round platter (usually made of metal) used to serve food to an individual. It is a very traditional way of serving and eating food in India. A traditional Thali will include at least 4 different dishes (and up to 6+ dishes), along with appropriate sides like rice, yogurt, fulkas (or other Indian breads) and even dessert. In short, it is like having a full set of buffet options on one plate. Thalis are perfect for ceremonies or special occasions, but they are also great for anyone looking for a well rounded meal instead of just one dish.

At LC, we have expanded our Thali options to include not only Indian variations, but also international variations filled with our delicious Chinese, Italian or Continental Options. Our international thalis are more like a cultural exploration and a complete meal in itself. A typical Indian thali comprises a number of dishes and has a little bit of everything right from sides and snacks to mains and dessert. The goal of a good Thali is to offer a taste of all the 6 different major flavour groups, including, sweet, salt, bitter, sour, astringent and spicy on one single plate. Our Chinese consists of Noodles or Rice, Manchow Soup, Chilly Chicken ,Honey Lemon Chicken Pops and Ice Cream. Our Italian Thali consists of Pasta in a red or white sauce, Sauted Vegetables, Broccoli Soup, Garlic Bread, French Fries and Ice Cream. Our Continental Thali includes a Chicken Sandwich, a Mushroom Soup, a Caesar Salad, Chilly Cheese Toast, French Fries and Ice Cream.
